Light Design LTD are please to announce that Managing Director Terry Lewsey and Finance Director Susan Bushnell were in attendance at the Smirnoff Beda awards Held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham this month, following our successful nomination for best installer for our installation of the Nightingale Club Birmingham, Simon Baker General Manager and David Fazakerley from the Nightingale Club were also in attendance as the Nightingale Club was also nominated for Best Club Midlands and Wales.
The show was presented by TV presenter and comedian Patrick Kelty with an injection of his very special brand of humour that left the crowd in good spirits for the evening. The evening was filled with many familiar faces from within the industry including the legendary Peter Stringfellow who attended the ceremony to present an award for best DJ won by D Pip
The competition was fierce at this years awards with the cream of the crop of the UK’s late licence industry battling it out to receive the ultimate accolade. Light Design are please to announce That after much hard work and planning and a mammoth £300000 installation project The Nightingale Club won a Smirnoff Beda award for best club Midlands and Wales

Simon Baker General Manager from the Nightingale Club said “ It was such an honour to be voted the Best Club in Midlands & Wales by BEDA in 2007, effectively making us one of the Best 4 venues across the UK. The Board and management team have worked tirelessly over the last 12 months to ensure the Nightingale Club refurbishment and reinvention was a complete success and this award was the culmination of those efforts”
